NSL double headers set for Mombasa this weekend

The results have pushed Coast Stima three places up to 8th position on the 19-team league table with 26 points

The stage is set for a major FKF National Super League double header at KPA Mbaraki Sports Club this weekend.

On Saturday, Coast Stima will host Kisumu AllStars at 15.00 hours. The match will be preceded by another pressure cooker between Modern Coast Rangers and KCB scheduled at 12.30pm.

Coast Stima, who are making their debut appearance  in the league, started off the season with a one all draw against another green horns Green Commandos at Bukhungu Stadium last weekend.

Kisumu All Stars kicked-off the season with a barren stalemate against St.Joseph of Nakuru at Moi Stadium. Coast Stima are placed in 8th position while Kisumu All Stars are lying 11th on the 20 team NSL log.

Modern Coast Rangers made a false start in the league following a 2-0 defeat to relegated Kenya Premier League side Western Stima in the weekend match played at Moi Stadium and will be seeking to avenge the defeat against KCB, who earned free points in their first match after Muhoroni Youth failed to show up at Camp Toyoyo.

KCB are placed in the second position while Modern Coast Rangers are two positions from bottom of the table.
