The singer's first Grammy Awards were off to a rough start as he took a pre-show bathroom break
Not even celebrities are treated to pristine event bathrooms, according to Noah Kahan.
"[I'm] about to take my first piss at the Grammys. I will update you guys on how the toilet situation is," he said in an Instagram story video.
Kahan, 27, wasn't gone for long and reported back as promised. In a second video, he spilled the tea: "It's just a standard men's bathroom and it's f---ing disgusting, obviously. Disgusting."
Earlier in the day, Kahan was honest about his pre-show jitters when he told his fans it was "time to start feeling weird" in an Instagram story. Later on, he updated with his Grammys look — a black tie tux and black framed sunglasses and added, "Let's f---ing go."
Sunday night was Kahan's first time at the Grammy Awards. He received one nomination for best new artist, alongside Gracie Abrams, Fred again.., Ice Spice, Jelly Roll, Coco Jones, Victoria Monét, and The War And Treaty.
Kahan brought his mom as his awards show date and praised her for always supporting him in a pre-show conversation.
"My mom was with me, driving me to all the open mics around the upper valley of Vermont, New Hampshire and she has been there for every show where no one was there and everyone was talking," he said. "Every time I come home, I feel like I'm a little kid again. My mom is my closest ally."
Kahan released his hit album, Stick Season, in 2022. Since, he's offered a refresh of sorts to the album — first releasing a deluxe version Stick Season (We'll All Be Here Forever). A final version of the collection is on the horizon with artist features, including Hozier, Post Malone, Sam Fender and more. Stick Season (Forever) will release on Feb. 9.
