It’s the stunning sledge that has the tennis world talking, and now Nick Kyrgios has weighed in.
Former World No.1 Angelique Kerber stunned fans and commentators on Sunday when she delivered a brutal sledge to Bianca Andreescu after losing to the 18-year-old for the second time in two weeks.
Courtside microphones heard Kerber tell Andreescu “you’re the biggest drama queen,” as they shook hands at the net.
However a few hours later, Kerber sent out a tweet in which she congratulated Andreescu “for a great performance and a well-deserved win.”

If the initial sledge didn’t already have tongues wagging, the big backflip certainly did.
And Kyrgios took notice, replying to Kerber’s tweet.
Bruh you said she is a drama queen and then post this 😂😂😂😂

Why was Kerber upset?
Andreescu reached the fourth round of the Miami Open, winning 6-4, 4-6, 6-1.
The teenager took a medical timeout after seven games to receive treatment on her right arm, which is thought to be why Kerber was fuming.
Andreescu, an 18-year-old Canadian, defeated Kerber in the Indian Wells final for her first career title just last week.
Kerber was seeded eighth at Miami, while Andreescu is unseeded.
The win was Andreescu’s 12th in 2019 against a top-50 player. She had only one before this year.
