Brutal cheap shot sparks wild scuffle in NFL

An act of petulance and a brutal cheap shot led to a violent scuffle in the NFL match between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New Orleans Saints.

Just minutes after A.J. Green's takedown of Jalen Ramsey in the Cincinnati Bengals-Jacksonville Jaguars game, there was a feisty showdown in the NFL South matchup between Tampa Bay and New Orleans.

UFC OR NFL?: Bengals star uses choke move in crazy brawl

Tampa Bay quarterback Jameis Winston, who was knocked out of the game due to an injury in his throwing shoulder, came off the bench to point and appeared to talk some trash to New Orleans rookie cornerback Marshon Lattimore.

As Lattimore was walking away, Winston foolishly poked him in the back of the helmet. Lattimore turned and pushed Winston with one hand.

Then out of nowhere, Buccaneers receiver Mike Evans came flying in and jumped into Lattimore’s back, shoving him hard and knocking him face-first into the Superdome turf.

That, of course, led to some punches being thrown during a brief skirmish.

Inexplicably, Evans was not tossed from the game. And Winston was in the wrong as well, leaving the bench to go onto the field and antagonise Lattimore.

The Bucs were down 30-3 at the time and ended up losing 30-10.
