Chiefs big bopper the heaviest man ever to throw NFL touchdown pass

Kansas City Chiefs big man Dontari Poe has achieved a 'massive' feat in the NFL, in every sense of the word.

The 157kg juggernaut became the heaviest man to ever throw a touchdown pass when he lined up at quarterback in the 33-10 win against the Denver Broncos.

The Chiefs were 17 points up at the time so coach Andy Reid decided it was the right time to entrust his big bopper with the football.

The 2-yard touchdown pass came with less than two minutes remaining and was the highlight of Kansas City's 23-point win.

Poe lined up as the quarterback and took the shotgun snap, running towards the line before tossing a jump pass to tight end Demetrius Harris.

The Chiefs coach had Alex Smith throw the ball to Poe in October for a touchdown against the Oakland Raiders.

The fifth-year behemoth from Memphis is the first defensive lineman in NFL history to catch and throw a touchdown pass in the same season.

The play call came after the Broncos called a timeout with 1:55 remaining despite trailing by three scores at the time.

Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce called Poe's pass "one for the ages."
