Hayne signs first major US sponsorship deal
It’s not just Australia jumping on the Hayne Plane with the Aussie code-hopper just signing his first American endorsement deal.
Before having even played a regular home and away season NFL match Jarryd Hayne, contracted to the San Francisco 49ers, has been signed by sporting apparel giant Under Armour.

And this is no penny and dime organisation, with a list of no-names at their disposal.
Under Armour have a stable of superstars on board including NFL legends Tom Brady and Cam Newton as well as other sporting heavyweights like Jordan Spieth, Michael Phelps and Andy Murray.
“Today, global performance brand Under Armour announced the addition of NFL pioneer Jarryd Hayne to its roster of world-class athletes,” the apparel company said in a statement.

“This partnership was a natural fit for me - Under Armour is a powerful global brand with a deep history in American football,” Hayne said.
“I have used Under Armour gear throughout my NFL training and it gives me a definite advantage. I look forward to representing Under Armour in the next chapter of my journey.”
It is still unknown whether Hayne will make his NFL debut in the match against Minnesota tomorrow morning (Australia time).
