A jam-packed Christmas schedule delivered plenty of gifts for NFL fans during Week 16, with eye-catching plays and impressive individual performances grabbing the headlines.

Here’s some of the top moments you might have missed:

‘DISRESPECTFUL’: NFL teammates turn on each other in ugly loss

Cardinals fool everyone

The Arizona Cardinals pulled off an epic trick punt return during their Christmas Day clash with the Indianapolis Colts.

Cardinals returner Christian Kirk moved to his left, creating the illusion he was about to catch the ball on that side of the field. Instead, cornerback Byron Murphy drifted back to catch the ball on the opposite side, before returning it 48 yards.

Seahawks and Bears battle in the snow

It was a white Christmas for the Seattle Seahawks and Chicago Bears, who were confronted with wintry conditions for their clash at Lumen Field.

The thick snowfall and -6 degree celsius temperatures didn’t stop them from playing out an epic contest, which the Bears won in thrilling fashion 25-24.

Berrios turns on the Jets

New York Jets kick returner Braxton Berrios showed off his explosive speed with a 103-yard kickoff return touchdown against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Berrios took the ball out of the end zone, saw an open lane and put his foot on the gas to go the length of the field untouched.

Big man touchdowns galore

For the first time in NFL history, three offensive lineman scored receiving touchdowns on the same day.

Lane Johnson, Terence Steele and Conor McDermott all caught passes in the end zone for their respective teams, sending NFL fans into a big man appreciation frenzy.

Burrow’s mammoth performance

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow threw for the fourth most passing yards in a game in NFL history, with a 525-yard effort against the Baltimore Ravens.

Burrow also threw four touchdown passes in the epic showing.

Patterson’s lovely gesture

Atlanta Falcons offensive weapon Cordarrelle Patterson couldn’t bear to see a young Falcons fan in tears before their clash with the Detroit Lions.

The veteran was quick to act with a kind-hearted gesture that immediately put a smile back on the little girl’s face.

The best Sunday Night Football intro yet

NFL teams are losing players due to COVID-19 at such a rapid rate that even the production team at Sunday Night Football is struggling to keep up.

Poor Milo Eifler’s player intro is evidence of that.
