'Like a car wreck': NFL rocked after 'horrific' collision leaves player motionless
The NFL has been rocked with a sickening helmet-to-helmet collision that left Packers wide receiver Geronimo Allison motionless on the field.
Allison went for a diving catch when he collided with Lions’ defensive back Tracey Walker - who was also going for the catch - which sent the Packers WR spinning.
Following the hit, Allison lay motionless on the ground as players and staff attended the wide receiver.
Fans were left stunned with the sickening collision to Allison during the game.
Geronimo Allison got KO'd!!! Sheesh!
But what is the DB suppose to here? He was going low for the ball, he wasn't aiming for the head or even going for the hit. This shouldn't be a penalty imo he was going for the ball. pic.twitter.com/BJVczQ2Kl5— #BusinessIsSuspended (@FTBeard11) October 15, 2019
Worried seeing that...Whew. RT @WesHod: Geronimo Allison pops back up and walks off. Scary incident #Packers

I’m a Packers fan and after seeing the replay it seemed the Lions player tried to catch that ball. Awful result.

Fortunately, after a few scary moments, Allison was able to walk off the field and was evaluated for a concussion.
The injury added to the Packers’ woes after losing another wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling to a leg injury.
