NFL Draft 2018: Browns still considering Saquon Barkley, despite reported Carlos Hyde deal

The Browns haven't ruled out drafting Saquon Barkley, even though they reportedly offered Carlos Hyde a three-year deal.

Will the Browns still draft Saquon Barkley if they have Carlos Hyde?

The Penn State running back is still on the draft board for the Browns, who are "keeping their options open," ESPN.com reported.

Hyde is expected to receive a three-year deal worth $15 million, which will include $6 million in the first year. But Barkley's impressive combine still has the Browns interested.

Cleveland has the No. 1 and No. 4 picks in this year's first round, and it's widely expected that it will take a quarterback with one of those choices. But with many mock drafts having Barkley going in the top five, the Browns have ample opportunity to lock him down.

Barkley rushed for 1,271 yards and scored 18 touchdowns, along with 632 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns for the Nittany Lions last season. He also returned to kickoffs for TDs.

Hyde was the top rusher for the 49ers last year with 938 rushing yards and eight touchdowns on top of 350 receiving yards.
