NHL player goes on furious stick-smashing rampage

Montreal Canadiens star Andrew Shaw absolutely lost it after being sent to the penalty box late in his side's clash with the Anaheim Ducks.

Shaw got whistled after he hooked Ducks defenseman Sami Vatanen, blowing a gasket after being told to leave the ice.

Incredulous at the call, Shaw smashed his stick, broke it over his leg and hurled obscenities at the referees, earning himself a misconduct charge.
