Max Clifford qustioned over 'honey trap'

Cheating football stars fear they will be exposed after being caught in a ‘honey trap.’

The Mirror is reporting Premier League And Champions League footballers could be dragged into a probe involving serial sleaze Max Clifford, a former public relations guru in London.

A model recently approached police claiming Clifford had urged her to sleep with leading, married players in England so he could compile a list of sex secrets to use against them.

Clifford, already serving an eight-year jail sentence for indecent assaults against teenage women, has been questioned by police from Scotland Yard’s Operation Yewtree, the inquiry set up following the Jimmy Saville scandal.

The model is alleged to have had a lengthy affair with one Premier League player and slept with two Champions League players.

Stars caught up in the scandal now fear they will be questioned by police, exposing their infidelities.

The model is now in a witness protection program as there are now fears for her safety.

A source said: "The woman has told police she was used by Clifford to set up top players as many of them were married men.

“She claims she was exploited by him so he could put their names in his little black book and use it against them.

“Police view her claims as extremely serious and have already interviewed Clifford about them.

“Lots of players are now terrified they are about to be exposed by all this.

“Clifford has a lot of scores to settle and now has nothing left to lose.”

The model also said she watched several players have constant affairs behind their wives’ backs and also said they were all household names.
