Tour de France cyclist posts amazing photo of legs

Cyclists in the Tour de France put their bodies through extreme pressure for weeks on end and Polish cyclist Bartosz Huzarski showed his fans just exactly what that looks like.

After the conclusion of the 145.5km 18th Stage from Pau to Hautacam, the NetApp-Endura rider posted an incredible photo of his post-race legs on his Facebook page, inadvertently causing a social media storm in the process.

Huzarski's vascular legs caused uproar among fans who abused and accused the 33-year-old of doping. Fans commented that such prominent veins are allegedly indicative of blood doping, however Huzarski was quick to dismiss the allegations on his Facebook page earlier today.

"Of course I will not have legs like Victoria’s Secret models, or Mary from a nearby vegetable shop, or anyone working in an office who does a 10km bike ride or an hour run three times a week," he said.

"I did not expect that picture of my legs would cause the confusion it did."

"For me it’s totally not a revelation, because I can see this view - maybe not everyday – but still often, especially after a hard race at high temperature."

“People write and think different things, 'that is impossible', 'that is not normal', 'it is unhealthy.'

The Tour de France came to an end this morning, with Italian rider Vincenzo Nibali taking out the crown at the Champ de Elysees.
