    NYU Says 'Antisemitic' Incidents Reported at Campus Protest

    “Numerous” arrests were made by responding police officers at NYU’s Gould Plaza on Monday, April 22, the NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner Kaz Daughtry said, after the university requested assistance in clearing pro-Palestinian protesters from the area.An NYU student newspaper reported that dozens were arrested during the protest.Footage taken by Jarrett Robertson shows the demonstrators chanting and carrying signs and Palestinian flags outside NYU’s Stern School of Business.“Today’s events did not need to lead to this outcome," NYU spokesman John Beckman said.
