NBA playoffs 2017: Live updates, highlights from Warriors-Spurs Game 4

The Warriors are on the brink of history. The Spurs, well, they're on the brink of elimination.

It's Game 4 of the Western Conference finals, and Golden State is looking at becoming the first team to start the playoffs 12-0 after sweeping the Trail Blazers, Jazz and (potentially) the Spurs, who need a win Monday to stay alive.

The Spurs certainly have their work cut out for them: Outside the series' opening game (a controversial 113-111 win in Oakland), the Warriors have beaten San Antonio by an average of 24 points in Games 2 and 3. The Spurs put up a decent fight in their last game, but it was still obvious Golden State was the better team. And without NBA MVP candidate Kawhi Leonard, that task got a whole lot tougher.

Follow along live for updates:

11:26 p.m.: It appears Manu Ginobili has left the court for the last time — at least for this season. The AT&T Center is giving him a standing ovation.

11:11 p.m.: The Spurs are still down big, but nothing will liven up the AT&T Center quite like a Manu Ginobili 3. The 39-year old now has 15 with another layup.

11:10 p.m.: The Warriors continue thier merciless onslaught, pulling ahead by 20 again (108-88).

11:01 p.m.: Two very different takes on the same score.

10:58 p.m.: Stephen Curry has completed his fourth of 12 3-point attempts, giving him 28 points. But, more importantly, he now passes Kobe Bryant for most 3-pointers in the NBA playoffs.

10:52 p.m.: After cutting the lead to 10, the Spurs once again fall behind big — they're down 93-75 with less than a minute remaining in the third quarter.

10:45 p.m.: A bittersweet stat for Spurs fans: In what could be Manu Ginobili's final game, he hits 3,000 career playoffs points.

10:33 p.m.: Golden State now leads by 22 (78-56). At this point, the third and fourth quarters are a formality.

10:21 p.m.: The Warriors were 14 of 19 from the field in the second quarter, which, according to ESPN Stats & Info , is their best shooting quarter of the last two postseasons.

10:12 p.m.: As a whole, the Spurs are not shooting well (just 20 of 58 from the field). The Warriors, meanwhile, are shooting 60 percent on 27-of-45 shooting.

10:10 p.m.: Some stats: Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry lead the game with 18 points apiece on 7-of-09 and 8-of-13 shooting, respectively. Draymond Green is tied for a game-high six rebounds with the Spurs' LaMarcus Aldridge and has the game high with five assists. Only one Spurs player has double-digit points (Kyle Anderson, with 10).

10:10 p.m.: The Warriors maintain their double-digit lead at the half, 65-51 over the Spurs.

10:03 p.m.: Well, that escalated quickly. Kevin Durant hits Draymond Green for a monster alley oop to put the Spurs up 59-44. San Antonio is still battling, but Golden State may have too much star power.

10 p.m.: Seems like nothing can go right for the Spurs — Dejounte Murray had an excellent opportunity at an easy basket on the fast break, only to be denied at the rim by Kevin Durant, who seemingly can do all things.

9:58 p.m.: Golden State leads 51-34 with less than five remaining in the half. The Spurs are letting this one get away from them.

9:51 p.m.: Kevin Durant has given the Warriors another double-digit lead (40-29) with his latest shot: He now has 14 points on 6-of-7 shooting.

9:44 p.m.: Danny Green makes it a 10-point game with his second 3-pointer of the game (he's 2 for 4 fromthe field from 3-point range).

9:38 p.m.: After one quarter, Golden State leads 31-19. Stephen Curry leads the game with 13 points on 6-of-11 shooting. Manu Ginobili and Kyle Anderson lead the Spurs with 4 points apiece. As a whole, the Warriors are shooting 50 percent from the field (13 of 26) while the Spurs are shooting 29 percent (9 of 31). Also...

9:25 p.m.: The Warriors lead 21-9 at the timeout. Golden State is 9 of 18 from the field. The Spurs are 4 of 20.

9:22 p.m.: LaMarcus Aldridge misses two free throws, followed by a 3-pointer from the Warriors' Patrick McShaw. Kind of indicative of how the game's going as a whole.

9:20 p.m.: Kevin Durant hits his own 3-pointer, giving him 8 points on 3-for-3 shooting.

9:15 p.m.: The Spurs have missed their last six shots — not exactly a winning formula. Golden State has the early 8-4 lead off a 6-0 run.

9:13 p.m.: Also, it's worth mentioning that Manu Ginobili is in the Spurs' starting lineup (he's 1 for 3 shooting after making the game's opening shot). His last start was March 24, 2014. Is Gregg Popovich making a statement with the lineup?

9:12 p.m.: The Spurs take an early 4-2 lead and get the ball back. It's do-or-die time for San Antonio.
