Just another 3-2 day, which is better than going under 50%. The Bucks making the last minute decision to hold Grayson Allen out blew it up. Huge day in the NBA today, pre-Christmas. So let’s attack it
Washington Wizards @ New York Knicks
Why are the Knicks just one-point favourites over the Wizards? Yes, Washington is coming off a win, but they have been poor for weeks and although New York is still COVID hit, I believe they are better than Washington.
In another twist, on TAB, the Knicks are underdogs, so take them to win straight up for $2, but we will see if that price lasts.
Best bet: Straight up - Knicks to win
Milwaukee Bucks @ Dallas Mavericks
No Luka Dončić or Tim Hardaway Jr. for Dallas, yet Milwaukee is only a three-point favourite. I know Milwaukee has no Giannis Antetokounmpo, but the Bucks are a significantly better outfit and should win by more than three.
Best bet: Handicap betting - Bucks -3
New Orleans @ Orlando Magic
Three games in a row, Gary Harris has gone over his points total. It’s set at 14.5 on Sportsbet today, so given his historical inconsistency, I am betting, on a back to back, he bucks that trend and goes under.
Under 14.5 pays $1.81. Josh Hart is a guard, yet his rebound line is 9.5. He is a very good rebounding guard, but that just feels too high. Under pays $1.76 on Sportsbet
Best bet: Player points - Harris under 14.5
Best bet: Player rebounds - Hart under 9.5
Houston Rockets @ Indiana Pacers
Caris LeVert has been getting five or fewer assists in most games recently. His assist line on TAB is set at 5.5. So, the under makes sense paying $1.60
Best bet: Player assists - LeVert under 5.5
