NBA 2021: Best bets for all the biggest games on Thursday

Lonzo Ball and the Chicago Bulls are back in NBA playoff contention this season.

We were one Dejounte Murray assist away from a 5-0 day on Wednesday - but fortunately we have a 13 game cornucopia to look through.

Chicago Bulls @ Cleveland Cavaliers

The Bulls are down some key players, but they are underdogs here by three points against the Cavs.

But I think they should be able to cover that and maybe get the win outright.

I’m also looking at Lonzo Ball’s assist line. It is set at 6.5 and he has gone over that number just four times this season.

Without DeMar DeRozan, he has more likely to beat it, but the under is still appealing, paying $2.00 on TAB.

Best bet: Handicap betting - Bulls +3

Best bet: Player assists - Ball under 6.5

Brooklyn Nets @ Houston Rockets

With no Kevin Durant, Patty Mills is going to have to shoulder a larger scoring load.

His points prop is 15.5 and the over pays $1.78 on Sportsbet. I think he exceeds it.

Best bet: Player points - Mills over 15.5

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Toronto Raptors

Last time I went with a Josh Giddey over rebound prop, he grabbed zero boards. Sigh.

But, it is still sitting at 5.5 on Sportsbet, and the over is paying $1.71 and for a guy averaging seven boards, I think he bounces back.

Best bet: Player rebounds - Giddey over 5.5

Milwaukee Bucks @ Miami Heat

The Heat are slumping and it doesn’t get better playing against the Bucks without Bam Adebayo and Jimmy Butler.

They are only 6.5 point underdogs and frankly, that feels too low.

Best bet: Handicap betting - Bucks -6.5

Portland Trail Blazers @ Golden State Warriors

No Damian Lillard, CJ McCollum and maybe no Anfernee Simons for Portland against a rested Warriors team at home should get ugly.

The market has Golden State as 14 point favourites, but even that doesn’t feel like enough.

Portland has been a mess this season and has been on the end of numerous blowouts. This is another.

Best bet: Handicap betting - Warriors -14
