NBA 2022: Best bets for all of Thursday's action

The Clippers only playing Ivica Zubac for 10 minutes was not what I needed yesterday as we went 2-3. It’s time to look at Thursday’s robust slate now.

These two teams just went at it and it was a struggle with teams posting up scoring numbers from the 1990s.

The total sits at 211.5 and I think it’s tough to see both teams struggling as much as they did in that game. So bucking that trend, I will take the over.

Dallas Mavericks @ New York Knicks

Sure, there is no Kristaps Porziņģis, but Dallas has been playing a high level of late and a little bit under the radar. The Knicks, have been consistently inconsistent and they are still just a two-point underdog. I think Dallas can make it tough on New York and cover.

New York can have some rough shooting nights, making a lot of rebounds available and in a starting role, I think Maxi Kleber gets his hands on those. His rebound line is 6.5, but on TAB over 6.5 is paying $2.05.

Best bet: Handicap betting - Mavericks -2.0

Orlando Magic @ Washington Wizards

Kyle Kuzma has been rolling. But, on a back to back, especially after his recent games have come on insane shooting, make me think there is only one way to go and that is down. It is handy that his points line sits all the way up at 21.5. The under is appealing and it is $1.85 on Sportsbet.

Best bet: Player points - Kuzma under 21.5

Los Angeles Lakers @ Sacramento Kings

LeBron James has been doing so much for the Lakers, but with Russell Westbrook around, his assists have taken a hit. And with no Anthony Davis, LeBron has been focusing more on scoring. That too drops his assists. The line is set at 7.5 and on TAB, under 7.5 assists is paying $1.80.

Best bet: Player assists - James under 7.5
