NBA 2022: Best bets for all of Tuesday's basketball action

A rough day to go 1-4 on Monday. It hurts when a point guard plays 40 minutes and doesn’t get a single assist (looking at you Ayo Dosunmu).

Let’s try to reverse it.

Utah Jazz @ Phoenix Suns

Seeing the Jazz as 11-point underdogs is wild, but not when you consider who they have out and may have out.

We know there is no Donovan Mitchell, Mike Conley and Rudy Gobert, and Joe Ingles, Bojan Bogdanović, and Royce O’Neale are all questionable (they likely aren’t playing).

The Suns should smash them.

Chicago Bulls @ Oklahoma City Thunder

DeMar DeRozan was great yesterday, but a points line of 29.5 is too high.

The expectation is that Zach LaVine returns which cuts into DeRozan’s usage and it is a back-to-back.

The under is $1.82 on Sportsbet.

Best bet: Player points - DeRozan under 29.5

New York Knicks @ Cleveland Cavaliers

Another team on a back-to-back, the New York Knicks and their leading scorer from last game RJ Barrett are worth looking at.

He has been solid in 2022, but he is always prone to stinking shooting nights.

His points line is 19.5 and I think under for $1.85 on Sportsbet is worth looking at.

Darius Garland has double-digit assists in six of his last seven games. His assist line is 8.5.

The one game he didn’t go into double digits, he had eight assists. So, he is dealing a lot of dimes.

I will take his over for $1.72 on TAB.

Best bet: Player points - Barrett under 19.5

Best bet: Player assists - Garland over 8.5

Indiana Pacers @ New Orleans Pelicans

The Pacers are missing their big men, but Jonas Valacniunas’ rebound number still looks high.

It’s set at 13.5 and I think the under is the prudent way to go. The under is $2.02 on Sportsbet.

Best bet: Player rebounds - Valančiūnas under 13.5
