NBA 2022: Best bets for all of Friday's basketball action
Thursday was a perfect day that would’ve been better if I had kept the Pascal Siakam bet in.
Still, 4-0 is a nice return. Let's see what we can get from Friday's games.
Minnesota Timberwolves @ Golden State Warriors
The Warriors aren’t as dominant as they were to begin the season and that is due to Steph Curry’s shooting slump and the absence of Draymond Green.

Yet, they are still priced as a 6.5 point favourite against a Wolves team that has been pretty plucky this season.
No Patrick Beverley, but I think Minnesota is able to cover this.
Anthony Edwards can be hit or miss, but for the Wolves to cover, he needs to go over his points line of 22.5.
He is coming off a 40 point game, and while that expectation is too high, he should be able to get to the mid-20s. Over 22.5 is paying $1.90 on TAB.
Even though Steph’s shooting has been off, he has been rebounding well. On Sportsbet, his rebounds line is only 4.5 and that seems like a joke. Over 4.5 rebounds is paying $1.70.
Best bet: Handicap betting - Wolves +6.5
Best bet: Player points - Edwards over 22.5
Best bet: Player rebounds - Curry over 4.5
Los Angeles Lakers @ Philadelphia 76ers
There is uncertainty here, as LeBron James has popped up on the injury report as questionable with a knee issue.
But one thing is for certain and that is the market expects Joel Embiid to score a lot of points. His line is 33.5.
Last time, I went under and Embiid made me look silly, but going under 33.5 seems like the right play, no? Under 33.5 is paying $1.95 on TAB.
I don’t know if LeBron will play, but I do know his assist line looks too low. It is set at only 5.5.
With Anthony Davis back, LeBron can reduce his usage and do some more playmaking and he should be able to go over that. It is paying $1.71 on Sportsbet.
Best bet: Player points - Embiid under 33.5
Best bet: Player assists - James over 5.5
