Friday saw a 2-2 result and now we wade back into treacherous waters to attack a slate with numerous postponements on it already.

Some of these selections might be void by the time the games roll around.

San Antonio Spurs @ Sacramento Kings

No De’Aaron Fox puts the ball in Tyrese Haliburton’s hand a lot more.

OUCH: NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar rips LeBron over 'childish' act

His points total is just 14.5 and while he had shooting and usage issues, I don’t expect that to be an issue here. The over is $1.87 on TAB.

Best bet: Player points - Haliburton over 14.5

Portland Trail Blazers @ Memphis Grizzlies

The Blazers beat the Hornets on the weekend, but before that had lost eight straight games.

I do not expect them to beat Memphis, but can they cover the 5.5 point spread? I have my doubts.

They are just not good, while the Grizzlies, irrespective of Ja Morant’s absence, continue to roll. I’ll take Memphis.

Best bet: Handicap betting - Grizzlies -5.5

Miami Heat @ Detroit Pistons

Once again, the Heat will be without Jimmy Butler while Detroit has no Jerami Grant.

So, given that Detroit has a horrible offence and Miami has a great defence, I think this one may be low scoring.

The total is 208.5 and under seems likely. It is $1.89 on Sportsbet.

I also like Dewayne Dedmon’s rebound number. You can find it set at 8.5 on Sportsbet and the over pays $1.72.

Best bet: Game total - under 208.5

Best bet: Player rebounds - Dedmon over 7.5

Los Angeles Lakers @ Chicago Bulls

Finally, the Bulls are back playing and taker on a Lakers team hit by COVID and Anthony Davis’ injury.

LeBron James has already seen his assists drop this season and without AD, he will focus more on scoring.

I like his assists line, which is set at 6.5. The under pays $2.00 on TAB.

Best bet: Player assists - James under 6.5

Season results to date
