People seem to be liking these columns, so we are doing them five days a week now.

Thursday is a big boy with 11 games on, so let’s take a look.

Chicago Bulls @ Philadelphia 76ers

This one screams to me that the wrong team is favoured. The 76ers, while at home, have not been as good as Chicago this season.

FANTASY BASKETBALL: Waiver wire options for Week 3 of the NBA

They do welcome back Joel Embiid, but don’t have Tobias Harris or Danny Green, so why are they favoured?

You can get Chicago for $2.13 at Sportsbet and that’s what I will do.

Best bet: Game result - Bulls to win $2.13

New York Knicks @ Indiana Pacers

I feel like I’m losing my mind. Why are the Knicks underdogs to the Pacers?

Malcolm Brogdon may be back, but that still should see New York as the underdogs.

TAB has the Knicks priced at $2.00 to win and I like those odds.

Bets bet: Game result - Knicks to win $2.00

Charlotte Hornets @ Golden State Warriors

The Warriors deserve favouritism, but the six points they are being given seem like too much.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this one pushes to overtime.

At TAB, you can get Hornets +6, but juiced to $1.95

Bets bet: Handicap betting - Hornets +6 ($1.95)

Dallas Mavericks @ San Antonio Spurs

Dallas was playing against Miami until collapsing late, while San Antonio has lost its centre, Jakob Poeltl, to Covid protocols.

I know Dallas is on a back-to-back, but they shouldn’t only be 2.5 point favourites.

Sportsbet has that at $1.92.

Best bet: Handicap betting - Mavs -2.5

LA Clippers @ Minnesota Timberwolves

The Clippers have been quite bad this season. The Wolves, uneven.

But, I don think Minnesota can pull the upset here against a travelling Clippers squad.

They are priced at $2.15 at TAB.

Best bet: Game result - Wolves to win $2.15

Season results to date

26-15 (63%)

+9.28 units

ROI 22.6%

Possible multi

I’ll throw all of those into a multi on Sportsbet, along with:

  • Raptors +3.5

  • Hawks-Nets Under 221

  • Nuggets -1

  • Pelicans Kings Over 220.5
