NBA 2021: Best bets for all of the biggest games on Monday

Kevin Durant, pictured here in action for the Brooklyn Nets.

Week 3 is here and let’s hope these picks can keep on winning.

Utah Jazz @ Milwaukee Bucks

The Jazz are on a back-to-back, but they will regain Mike Conley for this contest and after losing to Chicago, I can see them turning it around against an undermanned Bucks squad.

The line is set at Jazz -2 at Ladbrokes, but I think they win more comfortably than that.

They don’t lose consecutive games very often.

Best bet: Handicap betting - Jazz -2

Portland Trail Blazers @ Charlotte Hornets

Outside of their opener, Portland has not had a close game.

They’ve won three of four with the lowest margin being 19 points in their win over the Clippers.

They’re 2.5 point favourites here, but I’m not as interested in that as I am the game total of 230.5.

Both teams have very strong offences without awesome defensive personnel and think this one could even top 240.

Best bet: Total points - Over 230.5

Detroit Pistons @ Brooklyn Nets

After going over 27.5 points his first three games, Kevin Durant has gone under in his last three.

His line at Sportsbet is set at 27.5 ($1.81) and against Detroit, I don’t see how they have a shot at shutting him down.

I think the game as a whole may be a little lower scoring, but the total accounts for that set at 211.5, but Durant should be able to hit his mark.

I also like Saddiq Bey’s rebound line, which is set at 5.5 boards ($1.71). He has gone over that every single game so far.

Best bet: Player points - Durant over 27.5 Points

Best bet: Player rebounds - Bey over 5.5 Rebounds

Houston Rockets @ Los Angeles Lakers

Currently, LeBron James is questionable.

Even if LeBron plays, Anthony Davis’ points line of 23.5 feels low ($1.84).

Get on it quick, because if LeBron is ruled out, this is going to jump.

Best bet: Player points - Davis over 23.5 Points
