Must-have makeup products for when you’re on the go

If your makeup bag is feeling bulky, you might not want to take the whole bag with you on vacation. But that doesn’t mean you should compromise on your beauty routine while traveling. In this episode of ITK: Out of a Suitcase, travel expert and host Francesca Murray (@onegrloneworld) shows us her go-to travel makeup products to help you travel light and look your best wherever you go.

“Traveling can be chaotic, but luckily, there are plenty of portable makeup options for travelers to look and feel beautiful on the go,” Francesca says.

When picking travel makeup products, Francesca recommends selecting options with multiple uses, like the Rare Beauty Positive Light Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 20 Sunscreen. She recommends this moisturizer because it’s good for all skin types and protects from UV rays while giving a shiny finish. Combining uses lets you save space in your makeup bag, which is always a plus while traveling.

Another one of Francesca’s favorite combo products is the Smashbox Cali Contour Face Palette because it has every makeup essential you need when traveling: blush, highlighter and bronzer. Plus, there are no liquids in the palette, so it’s easy to take through airport security.

For lipstick, Francesca recommends the Mini MAC Lipstick because of its compact size that fits into a pocket or any bag.

“It’s possible to feel confident on the go with these portable beauty products,” Francesca says.
