Murray wins Barbasol Championship for first PGA Tour title

A three-under 68 in the final round saw Grayson Murray win the Barbasol Championship for his first PGA Tour title.

Grayson Murray claimed his maiden PGA Tour victory with a one-shot win at the Barbasol Championship on Sunday.

The American carded a three-under 68 in the final round to finish at 21 under, a shot ahead of countryman Chad Collins (68).

Murray, 23, had a mixed front nine that included three birdies and two bogeys, but an eagle at the 13th hole, where he put his approach to within five feet, got his round going.

He dropped a shot at the next but birdied the 16th to close out his first win on Tour.

Collins, who fired a second-round 60, made four birdies on his final six holes but had to settle for second.

Brian Gay (65), Tag Ridings (69) and Scott Stallings (71), the latter coming off a 60 of his own, were tied for third at 19 under.
