'Mum made us dress the same': Tennis star's relatable throwback pic

Novak Djokovic has raided the family photo album and sent his fans into a frenzy with a throwback photo from his childhood.

Pictured alongside his younger brothers Marko and Djordje at their home in Belgrade, something seemed a little off to Djokovic all these years later.

“This is back in Belgrade 100 years ago when mom made us all dress the same,” he wrote.

“Can anyone relate?”

Fans filled the comments section but the man himself certainly can.

Young son Stefan didn’t seem to hesitate putting on matching whites while his dad trained:

Djokovic’s Belgrade attire also revived memories of the night he won his first Australian Open title.

In a matchup to make Adidas happy, he and beaten rival Jo-Wilfried Tsonga made it to the final and wore the same distinctive design.

The throwback photo with his brothers is the latest shared by Djokovic.

In November, when he returned to top spot in the world rankings, a toddler shot appeared with an inspirational message:

And just last week he showed off his classic 1990s gear from a tennis camp with friends:

‘We love each other’

Gael Monfils has lifted the lid on his new romance with fellow tennis star Elina Svitolina.

Monfils and Svitolina went public with their relationship at the Australian Open in January, when the Frenchman was spotted supporting his new girlfriend courtside at Rod Laver Arena.

Monfils has now spoken out about his love for Svitolina.

“I can confirm that it’s going very good,” Monfils told French media.

“This relationship has more publicity but that’s because she is one of the best players in the world.”

Svitolina was in Bulgaria watching Monfils two weeks ago, and Monfils sit in her box this week in Dubai.

“I’m going to join her this week in Dubai,” he said. “I hope to support her, and I hope to play the men’s event next week.”

Monfils said he’d be supporting Svitolina regardless of whether she was a famous tennis player.

“With Eli, there’s happiness, really,” he said.

“For me, she’s not a tennis player. If she played football or cricket, I would still go see her in Dubai.

“We are together because we love each other.

“It’s just one more thing that we have in common and can understand some things more easily.”
