V8 Supercars return to Channel 7 and 7mate this weekend from the Clipsal 500 in Adelaide as Jamie Whincup and Craig Lowndes aim to dominate again.

Adding to the traditional Ford-Holden rivalry, this year has seen a tsunami of interest in the new manufacturers Nissan and Mercedes.

There will also be sports fans everywhere watching Casey Stoner as he starts his switch from Moto GP to V8 Supercars this weekend in the second-tier Dunlop series and has today revealed the Commodore he will use.

Seven’s coverage is hosted by Matt White with expert commentary from Neil Crompton, Mark Skaife and Aaron Noonan. In pit lane is Mark Beretta and Mark Larkham.

Coverage of the V8 Supercars Clipsal 500 starts the new broadcast rights agreement with Seven broadcasting all V8 Supercars racing on Channel 7 and 7mate, including the iconic Bathurst 1000.
