Montrose boss Craig Feroz:
"As we expected City had most of the possession but they didn't really create that much in the first half.
"We scored from a corner and unfortunately they got one back just before half-time. I thought we did well in the first half, but in the second-half the fitness and the full-time [element] probably tolled and we've had a hard week.
"I am really proud of the girls for the way they have played this week. You can see there is a lot of improvement out there."
Glasgow City boss Leanne Ross:
"I'm more delighted with the first-half than the second-half and the goals that we scored were really pleasing.
"There is always concern when you go a goal behind but even at half time at 1-1 we just asked the players to raise the tempo and tidy up in terms of quality in passing.
"There was not a lot to change but I think the quality showed in the second half."
