Tuivasa wows Perth crowd with epic shoey

Undefeated Aussie heavyweight Tai Tuivasa was upset with missing out on a bonus after his big victory at UFC Perth.

But it wasn't just his first round stoppage on Cyril Asker that had the Western Sydney local thinking he deserved a $50,000 sweetener.

Tuivasa, who's now 7-0 in his professional career, also wowed the Perth crowd with an epic shoey, reminiscent of another Aussie favourite, F1 superstar Daniel Ricciardo.

“What more do they want us to do?” Tuivasa said.

"I should’ve gotten 50K just for the shoey."

At least the UFC commentator was impressed by the effort, noting the big man was quickly making himself a crowd favourite.

"You wanna make fans in Perth, Australia? This is exactly how you do it," the commentator said.

The 24-year-old also explained that the shoe he used was just "a random shoe", adding to the remarkable feat.

Fans on social media were quick to laud Tuivasa for his performance, and his shoey.
