Mayweather video sparks bombshell fight rumours

Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather has sparked rumours that he's set to stay unretired and fight again.

The 50-0 undefeated champion came out of retirement to fight UFC star Conor McGregor last month, a victory that was thought to well and truly be his last bout.

But Mayweather has ignited a fan frenzy by posting a video of himself training in the gym.

As you can see in the video above, the 40-year-old looks to be in serious preparation for another fight, after reportedly netting around $100 million for the McGregor showpiece.

Perhaps the man they call 'Money' just can't resist the lure of another payday?

The fact that Mayweather posted the videos to his own Twitter account has many fans claiming he's sending a message that he won't be heading back into retirement any time soon.

One of the best pound-for-pound fighters of his generation, Mayweather came out of retirement to put his undefeated record on the line against McGregor in Las Vegas.

McGregor's lack of boxing experience saw the fight criticised by some observers as a money-spinning circus and the Irishman, having made a strong start, ultimately struggled in the ring, losing by technical knockout in the 10th round.

As you can see above, some fans think Mayweather might fight Manny Pacquiao again, but others reckon maybe he wants fellow undefeated star Gennady Golovkin.

The spectacle of Mayweather v McGregor was followed last month by a contest more to the tastes of boxing aficionados, as middleweight superstars Golovkin and Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez clashed, also in Las Vegas.
