New video shows McGregor heartbroken after Mayweather loss

Previously unseen footage has emerged showing Conor McGregor's devastated reaction to losing his mega-fight with Floyd Mayweather.

McGregor put on a brave face following his TKO in the 10th round against Mayweather, partying like he'd won and celebrating well into the night.

However a new video (watch above) paints a very different story.

In the immediate aftermath of the famous bout, McGregor appeared heartbroken as he was consoled by his family and UFC boss Dana White in the dressing rooms.

He was momentarily cheered up by his newborn son Conor Jr, but looked visibly devastated by the defeat that many pundits predicted.

He even apologised to White, who reacted by telling McGregor he was still a champion.

Not many fans or experts gave McGregor a fighting chance against the undefeated boxing champion, but McGregor promised to shock the world by defeating Mayweather.

Many saw McGregor's claims as pure showboating, but the above footage shows the UFC champion actually expected to win.

The remarkable video shows a vulnerable side to McGregor that we don't often get to see, and might actually result in the Irishman winning over a new legion of fans.
