Sporting world reacts to Mayweather-McGregor super fight
All eyes were on Floyd Mayweather’s TKO of Conor McGregor in Las Vegas and a chorus of fellow pro athletes were quick to show their respect for Money’s 50th career win.
Basketball star Russell Westbrook, US swimming legend Michael Phelps, former tennis pro Andy Roddick and boxing great Shane Mosly were among the many to post their excitement.
Damn good fight. Mayweather put on a hell of a show. Conor did much better than I had expected. Hats off to both guys. Worth the money 💰

Mayweather was troubled by the Irishman's awkward approach in the early rounds but his boxing nous eventually won out.
* UNBEATABLE: Mayweather extends stunning win streak
* FRUSTRATED: Annoyed McGregor questions ref's decision
* LIKE CLOCKWORK: Floyd says plan worked to perfection
* SUITING UP: McGregor gets pre-fight taping while wearing suit
By the sixth round the undefeated American had McGregor's measure and from there the result looked a foregone conclusion.
Mayweather hit the rapidly tiring Irishman with some solid shots in the seventh, eighth and ninth rounds, before the referee called an end to the fight in the tenth.
The Simpsons even predicted Mayweather beating McGregor. #Mayweather #McGregor

Mayweather, who came out of boxing retirement at 40 for the fight, improved to 50-0 to surpass heavyweight great Rocky Marciano's 49-0 record for most wins without a loss or draw.
McGregor accepted defeat graciously after the fight ended but questioned whether the referee was right to stop it when he did.
