Mayweather grants Jimmy Kimmel unlosable bet

Floyd Mayweather has made an incredible promise to TV host Jimmy Kimmel, who stands to make a lot of money from the Conor McGregor fight.

Whether the undefeated American boxer wins, draws or loses against the Irishman, he has vowed to make sure Kimmel hits pay day.

CLASSIC CONOR: McGregor hits back after fight fan mockery

Mayweather was a guest on the comedian's Jimmy Kimmel Live program on Tuesday night, when the host started talking about betting on the fight.

Kimmel revealed that he was considering putting money on Mayweather to win, saying "I feel like I might bet a lot of money to win a little money on you."

Mayweather is currently so short a favourite in Las Vegas that punters would have to bet $550 on him to win $100 back.

"It's worth it," Mayweather was quick to reply. He then went on to assure Kimmel's bet even further saying, "Whatever you bet, if you don't win, I'll give it back to you."

"Really?!" replied Kimmel, "This is the best deal ever."

If Floyd stays true to his word, there is no doubt about it, this is the ultimate unlosable bet for Kimmel.

With Mayweather looking to become a career billionaire after collecting his purse for the fight, reimbursing Kimmel for whatever he lost probably isn't going to put much of a dent in his net worth.

Kimmel then went on to try and get some advice on prop bets for the fight, asking Floyd if he believed he would knock out McGregor, which he refused to answer.

The TV host then asked Floyd if he believed there was any chance the fight would go the distance, to which the boxer replied, "Absolutely not."

Mayweather was also hesitant to say whether or not Justin Bieber would once again accompany him to the ring.
