Fighter destroys opponent with controversial soccer kick KO

A Japanese MMA fighter has knocked out his opponent with a brutal move that's been banned in most promotions around the world.

Koichi Ishizuka was on the receiving end of a brutal soccer kick against Hiroto Uesako at DEEP Cage Impact 2017 in Tokyo recently.

The sickening blow reverbarated around the arena and could be heard clearly above the screaming crowd.

The 'soccer kick' is illegal in many MMA organisations because of its extremely dangerous nature.

It involves kicking your opponent in the head while they're on the ground, like you would to a soccer ball.
