Bisping gives Whittaker epic spray after UFC title win

Injured UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping lit the fuse for a spiteful fight with Rob Whittaker after slamming the Aussie following his interim title victory at UFC 213.

Whittaker beat Yoel Romero in a unanimous points decision victory in their interim bout at UFC 213 in Las Vegas.

All three judges scored it 48-47 to Whittaker, who suffered a foot injury in the first round.

The Australian was handed his interim belt after the fight but it wasn’t long before Bisping stormed onto the stage and ripped in to the victorious fighter.

Looking at Whittaker's belt, Bisping sneered and said, "That makes me sick. You should be ashamed of yourself."

He then slammed his own belt to the canvas, encouraged Whittaker to try to take it and then stormed out of the cage.

Whittaker took the apparent publicity stunt in his stride, even managing to jokingly ask whether he really could keep Bisping's belt.

The Aussie dominated the last three rounds of the fight with Romero, pinning the Cuban to the floor in the final minute.

Bisping has defended his belt just once since claiming it in an upset of Luke Rockhold last July, beating 46-year-old Dan Henderson by decision last October.
