Female fighter pulls off 'KO of the year' with brutal head kick

Colombian fighter Sabina Mazo has produced what many are calling the knockout of the year with a violent head kick.

Mazo was taking on Jamie Thorton at Legacy Fighting Alliance 9 on the weekend when the Colmbian hit her opponent with the body-stiffening blow.

The referee was forced to immediately call an end to the fight with with just 10 seconds left in the opening round.

The win improves Mazo's record to 3-0 in her MMA career.

"This is just the beginning of this journey," she said. "I will keep training to get better!"
