McGregor fan poses as reporter, trolls Alvarez with brutal question

McGregor fan poses as reporter, trolls Alvarez with expletive-laden question

The UFC promises entertainment and boy do they deliver!

At today's press conference/circus for UFC 205 in New York, Conor McGregor took the main stage with opponent Eddie Alvarez to trade barbs and completely hype up the Madison Square Garden crowd.

McGregor did his best to trash Alvarez in front of his maniacal supporters, but the best came from an unsuspecting source in the crowd.

A McGregor fan, who posed as a reporter got a hold of the microphone for the final question... and what started as a regulation question descended into an expletive-laden tirade towards Alvarez.

“Eddie Alvarez, you’ve been mentioning that Conor McGregor isn’t a championship fighter," he began.

"He only has 2-3 rounds, yet in your professional career you’ve only went to the fifth round twice and lost one of ’em what the f*** are you talking about, mother-f***er?!”

McGregor absolutely loved it, bursting into laughter at the audacity of his fan's stunt.

"He has a suit and a tie and everything," McGregor exclaimed. "I love it."

Despite the fact the fan/reporter didn’t exactly have his facts straight, the crowd didn’t care.

Alvarez has gone to the fifth round twice and won both fights. He previously defended his Bellator belt against Pat Curran and went on to beat Michael Chandler in five rounds via decision.

Let's not let facts get in the way of a good story though.
