Lesnar beats Hunt at UFC 200

WWE star Brock Lesnar has returned to the Octagon with a unanimous decision victory over Kiwi fighter Mark Hunt at UFC 200 in Las Vegas.

Former UFC heavyweight champion Lesnar used his superior wrestling to clearly dominate rounds one and three, leaving Hunt bloodied with his ground and pound.

The highlight of the fight came in the opening round when Lesnar hit Hunt with a WWE-style body slam, leaving the 'Super Samoan' dazed after coming down on his back and head.

It's Lesnar's first win in the Octagon since July 2010. He reportedly pocketed a record-breaking $2.5 million purse for the appearance.

All three judges had Lesnar winning 29-27, capping a remarkable return to the UFC.

"It took me a little while to get acclimated. Words can't describe it", he said following the victory.

He's going to wrestle again for the WWE in August, and his MMA future is unclear.

"One day at a time," he said.

Hunt had previously questioned Lesnar's motivation for returning, slamming the UFC's decision not to drug test his opponent.

In the co-main event, Miesha Tate's reign as UFC women's bantamweight champion lasted just one fight.

Tate, like Holly Holm - who she took the title from - lost by submission to Brazilian Amanda Nunes.
