#UFC199: Bisping claims UFC middleweight belt

Michael Bisping becomes Britain's first UFC champion, taking out the middleweight title after knocking out Luke Rockhold.

Bisping caught Rockhold with a right to the body, followed with a huge left which sent the American to the canvas. Rockhold bounced back up but Bisping finished him with a clean left hook.

“That was easy. That was the easiest fight of my life,” Bisping said into the camera after the win.

Bisping’s first-round knockout gave him his first title after 26 fights. Even more amazing, the fact that he accepted the bout with just two weeks notice as an injury replacement for former champ Chris Weidman.

“I got to be humble here even though I want to be an a–hole. Thank you all for being here, I am obviously so happy right now. I have been a fighter since I came out of my mother, really,” Bisping told Joe Rogan.

“People say I got no punching power. I knew I could punch.”
