Michael B. Jordan And Ryan Coogler Reunite For New Mystery Project

Michael B. Jordan and Ryan Coogler are reuniting for a new original film from Coogler and his production company Proximity Media, with Jordan starring and Coogler writing, directing and producing.

The film marks Coogler’s first original spec script since Fruitvale Station, which first teamed him and Jordan. They have since worked together on Creed and Black Panther.

Not much is known about the new film, other it being described as a genre-style pic.

Coogler is producing through his Proximity Media along with Proximity’s Zinzi Coogler and Sev Ohanian. Rebecca Cho from Proximity will executive produce.

For Jordan, he is coming off a big year after making his directing debut on Creed III, in which he reprised his star-making role as Adonis Creed. Coogler most recently directed Marvel’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, another massive hit that grossed more then $800 million at the global box office.

Jordan is repped by M88. WME reps both Coogler and Jordan.
