Penrith Panthers forward Trent Merrin has been added to the New South Wales squad ahead of game two of State of Origin against Queensland.
Merrin, 27, was called up as a standby player for the clash at ANZ Stadium on Wednesday, the Blues confirmed.
He replaces the St George Illawarra Dragons' Jack de Belin, who was suspended for one game by the NRL judiciary.
The Blues said Merrin would warm up with the squad, but would only play if there was an injury ahead of the clash.
The Australia international has made 13 appearances for New South Wales, with the last of those coming in 2015.
The Blues are looking to seal the series after claiming a 28-4 victory in game one.
