Video exposes simmering Paul Pogba tension at Manchester United

The contract frenzy surrounding Paul Pogba appears to be taking its toll, with the star Manchester United midfielder captured having an apparent heated spat with a teammate in Perth on Monday.

Pogba has two more years remaining on his United contract, but he is widely expected to leave the club for either Real Madrid or Juventus.

And if a video posted by Manchester United to its official Twitter page is anything to go by, Pogba has fallen out with at least one of his teammates.

The club posted a video montage of its players taking a relaxing stroll through Perth on Monday.

But what they potentially didn't realise is that a spat between Pogba and teammate Jesse Lingard was also briefly captured during the 79-second video.

Pogba is seen exchanging strong words with Lingard as they are walking, before Pogba makes a movement towards his teammate.

Defender Victor Lindelof then grabs hold of Pogba from behind in an attempt to diffuse the situation.

It's unclear what happened next because the video cuts to a different section of the player group.

The heated exchange will further fuel talk that World Cup winner Pogba is on his way out.

There were grave doubts as to whether the Frenchman would even make the pre-season trip to Perth given his desire to leave the EPL powerhouse.

Manchester United will play Perth Glory at Optus Stadium on Saturday night, before facing off against Leeds United four days later.
