Man Utd draw third Spanish rivals Sevilla in Europa Lge
Manchester United will face Spanish opposition for the third time in a row in the Europa League after being drawn to play record winners Sevilla in the quarter-finals.
The 2017 winners United knocked out Barcelona in a play-off and then Real Betis in the last 16. Now Eric ten Hag's side have another trip to Seville against six-time champions Sevilla.
"It is going to be tough, they are very experienced in the Europa League, won it so many times. I don't know the team in detail but for me the most important is football and I don't look forward to Sevilla," said ten Hag.
The winners face another tough task in the semi-finals where either Juventus or Arsenal's conquerors, Sporting Lisbon will be the opponents.
Surprise debutants Royale Union Saint-Gilloise of Belgium face another German test in ex-champions Bayer Leverkusen, after knocking out Union Berlin in the previous round.
That winners will play either Dutch league leaders and former winners Feyenoord or Jose Mourinho's 2022 Conference League champions Roma.
The quarter-finals are scheduled for April 13 and 20, with the semis to follow on May 11 and 18, with the final to be in Budapest on May 31.
