A man has been rushed to hospital following a horror stabbing incident in Sydney’s west.

Police were called to a home on Gundaroo St in Villawood about 5.30am, discovering a man in his 20s with stab wounds.

He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition.

The incident occurred during a social media livestream, according to Sunrise.

It is believed Lowana and Alcoomie streets near Thurina Park remain blocked off as investigations continue.
