A man is fighting for his life after allegedly being stabbed in broad daylight outside a busy train station near Melbourne’s CBD.
Police were called to the North Richmond train station shortly after 10am on Thursday following reports a man had been stabbed.
The 53-year-old, who is believed to have been attacked on Victoria St, was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police are now on the hunt for a second person involved in the incident who allegedly fled the scene on foot and is yet to be located.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be established, with police investigating whether the pair are known to each other.
