Malik Rosier breaks Miami single-season TD record
Miami quarterback Malik Rosier broke a school record for most touchdowns in a single season during the third quarter of the Orange Bowl.
Rosier threw a deep touchdown in the third quarter to surpass Vinny Testaverde's previous record of 30 touchdowns in a season. Five of Rosier's touchdowns came on the ground.

Rosier, a junior, entered the bowl game completing just 54.8 percent of his passes, but his ability to throw and run helped him set the record.
On the other side of the field, Wisconsin running back Jonathan Taylor surpassed Adrian Peterson for the most rushing yards from a freshman in a single season.
