Majak Daw's heartwarming news on road to recovery
Days after North Melbourne’s Majak Daw returned to the training track, the AFL star has announced some further good news – he and girlfriend Emily McKay are expecting a child.
McKay took to Instagram to spread the news, saying the couple were “pretty happy about our lil friend that’s on the way”.
“Baby Daw due this year,” she wrote.

Daw completed another major milestone in his recovery earlier this week, after falling from Melbourne’s Bolte Bridge in December 2018.
The hulking ruck/forward was rescued by Victorian emergency services, and had suffered serious injuries to his pelvis and hip.
His North Melbourne teammates have thrown their support behind Daw as he completes various milestones in his recovery.
In mid-March, Daw used a running machine for the first time, while on Monday he returned to the training track alongside his teammates, another key moment.
The Roos favourite was cheered on by his teammates as he ran laps at Arden Street, but later admitted to having some nerves before taking his next big step.
“It’s pretty exciting, not going to lie,” Daw told North Melbourne’s club website.
“I’ve been waiting for so long. (I) couldn’t sleep last night because of this.”
