Luka Doncic is a Los Angeles Laker. Nobody can believe it. Not his fans, not his peers, not the media that covers the game.

Most of all, not even he seems to believe it himself.

Doncic held his introductory press conference with the Lakers and told everyone that, while he appreciates the opportunity he has ahead of him with the Lakers, he certainly didn't expect this. He thought he'd be a Dallas Maverick for life.

And with all the rumors swirling around about why the Mavericks traded him and where things went wrong, the last 48 hours for him felt like "a month."

When you add all that together, it's no wonder Doncic looked so sad at his presser.

Just look at this guy.

.
.

He looked so sad talking about how things ended with Dallas.

It wasn't all frowns. Doncic did crack a few smiles during his availability. Mainly when talking about living next to the ocean — he looks pretty excited to live on the beach.

Otherwise, though, for an introductory press conference, this was as drab as it gets.
