Which LPGA players are on bubble for Naples' CME Group Championship, $4 million winner's check shot

With only three events remaining before the cutoff of the CME Group Tour Championship, time is running out for players hoping to vie for the biggest check in women’s golf history. The top 60 players on the CME points list after The Annika driven by Gainbridge at Pelican will qualify for the season-ending event in Naples.

This year’s CME at Tiburon Golf Club from Nov. 21-24 will offer a purse of $11 million and a record $4 million winner’s check. Every player in the field will be awarded at least $55,000 at the 72-hole no-cut event.

A handful of players made significant moves up with strong play at the Maybank Championship this past weekend while several others moved ever so slightly down the rankings.

Here’s a list of players who are currently on the bubble down the stretch:

UP

50. Bailey Tardy

A share of fourth in Malaysia moved Tardy up 15 spots in the CME. The 2024 Blue Bay LPGA winner has turned things around in the fall Asian swing.

51. Nataliya Guseva

Russian rookie bumped up three spots after a share of 12th at the Maybank. Guseva has four top 10s on the season.

61. Marina Alex

Alex posted her fourth top-10 finish of the season at the Maybank to move up six spots in the rankings, now only one spot outside the top 60.

72. Wei-Ling Hsu

Hsu jumped up 10 spots after recording her first top 10 since June at the Maybank. The 30-year-old Taiwanese player is in the field this week in Japan.

59. Gaby Lopez

Lopez dropped one spot in the rankings after a T-56 at the Maybank but is still (barely) inside the top 60.

60. Ashleigh Buhai

South Africa's Buhai got better every round at the Maybank but still dropped a spot in the rankings this week and now sits on the bubble at 60th.

62. Alison Lee

Lee entered the Maybank right on the bubble (60th) but dropped two spots after she withdrew from the tournament.

63. Alexa Pano

A third-round 79 dropped Pano down to the bottom of the board in Malaysia. She also dropped two spots in the CME rankings to 63rd.

Former U.S. Women's Open champion dropped one spot in the CME ranks after a T-39 in Malaysia.

A T-68 at the Maybank sent O'Toole down the CME ranks to 65th, dropping three spots from last week.
