The Wiggles throw support behind USA Tomahawks

Australian kids band, The Wiggles, have made a tribute song for the USA rugby league team following their inspiring run in the World Cup.

The Tomahawks have shown amazing form in their debut at the tournament, and proving to be the ultimate underdogs.

The lyrics in The Wiggles tribute include a request for President Barack Obama to carve the face of team captain Joseph Paulo into Mount Rushmore, while the chorus proclaims that the Tomahawks are going to "shock the world".

They have indeed been the surprise packets of the Rugby League World Cup.

A dominant effort in their pool matches saw them easily qualify for the quarter finals.

Despite being made up of only three fulltime rugby league players, and with no players receiving payment for their participation, it is a remarkable story.

Their next opponents however will prove to be a massive challenge, when they take on the Australian Kangaroos on November 17th.
