Humongous Taumalolo falcon leads to crazy Lebanon try

Jason Taumalolo has inadvertently set up a crazy try for Lebanon with a massive falcon straight off his face.

Lebanon came into their World Cup quarter-final clash with Tonga as massive underdogs, but they came out fired up and ready to cause an upset on Saturday.

Lebanon stunned their highly-fancied opponents with three first-half tries, including one of the most bizarre we've seen so far this World Cup.

Lebanon star Mitchell Moses made a clean break straight up the middle, before attempting a kick for his winger out wide.

However the kick went straight into a chasing Taumalolo's face, before ricocheting 30 metres into the in-goal.

Second-rower Jason Ellis cleaned up in a wild in-goal scrap, grounding the ball for the try.

Lebanon made their intentions clear with a big act of defiance in a fiery pre-game cultural challenge.

As the Tongans produced their Sipi Tau, the Lebanese players moved forward to meet them head-on.
